Top Ten coolest festivals anywhere. Right on the Atlantic. Cool ballroom! Great bands! And People who want to have fun!

This really is a cool spot!! It's near enough Baltimore that you can get LaCanfora on terrestrial radio, but it's kind of out in the country. Don't wear boots that you don't want to get a little mud on.

This is a cool venue. The burgers are first-rate, and it's a cool place for a show. It feels intimate enough that you could close your eyes and forget you're not in a stadium.

Anne Heaton opens! One of my favorite venues. I go back all the way to the old Ark. No, not THAT Ark, but still. One of the classiest venues you'll ever see. But they still don't have my picture on the wall! What's up with THAT?!

Natalie's is rollicking. That's the only word for it. It's a rollicking joint. The food is great. It sounds great. It's just rollicking.

Anne Heaton opens! I used to trek out to Oak Park to Fitzgerald's back in my old Chicago days. Hang out and listen to folks like Andrew Calhoun, Frank Tedesso, Michael Smith, Buddy Mondlock, Sleepy Silver, John Prine, Bonnie Koloc, Steve Goodman, Scott Momenthy, Brian Anderson, Victor Saunders, Jim Gary, Jim McCandless, Dalia Goldstein, Christopher Street, Keith Nichols, and the rest of 'em. A few of them are still around, but Fitzgerald's is going strong. Outlasted the Earl, Holstein's, Troubles, etc etc.

Shank Hall is a serious piece of Milwaukee real estate, and it's always cool to play there. AND I get to see and play and sing with Cellocaster Paul Kuhn, which is ALWAYS great.

A cool spot in a cool town. I grew up 20 miles away, so get there early, 'cause everyone who has some kind of major beef with me going way back may show up.

An oasis in Oklahoma. Woody would've come here every week, to play and check out the other folks a driftin' and a' travelin' through....I love the Blue Door, I love playing there and I love the people that come there....and I love Greg, who makes you glad every time you walk in the door.
